Outpost is a pretty original British nazi-zombie movie starring Ray Stevenson (Punisher: War Zone). Unfortunately it isn't the most exciting thing around. Recommended only for hardcore genre fans.

Not only has this decade had it's share of great zombie flicks, but it's birthed the sub-genre of Zombie Comedy! Fido is one of the best 'Zom-Coms' of the handful released since Shaun of the Dead. Think Frankenweenie but with a zombie.

ExciteBike Returns!!!

Tears of Joy! After Trucks and Bots ExciteBIKE is finally returing in all of it's side scrolling goodness to the Wii! It will be downloadable on Wii Ware November 9th.

Black Metal Chewbacca Tattoo!

OMG This is even better than the Black Metal Millhouse tattoo! I love the subtlety of the black metal touches, from the black eyes and lips to the upside-down cross necklace and bullet belt bandolier.

The Classic 1980's Ninja Turtles are Back!?

TURTLES FOREVER will see the modern day Ninja Turtles teaming up with their campier versions of yesteryear. I like how they incorporate the classic turtles into the modern mythology through the use of alternate dimensions, but I really wish they could have used the original voice actors!

Scooby-Doo

Good: Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks) as Velma.

Bad: Terrible looking CG creatures, Sugar Ray, Frosted Tips, "Let's Get Jinkie With It," Scrappy?

Thoughts: If you're dumb enough to view this as a normal movie, it is a terrible experience. But if you can view it as a live action cartoon, or laugh at how awful it is, it is mildly enjoyable.

Drinking Game Ideas: A 40oz of malt liqour and some scooby snacks.

Fun Fact: Reggae artist Shaggy and rock group MXPX perform different versions of the Scooby-Doo theme song in the movie. Shaggy got his stage name from the show's character.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Released August 15, 2008

Good: Jedi, Stinky the Hutt, lightsabers, old school Saturday morning style action/adventure and fun, outer space, Anakin as a likeable character, Ziro fhe Hutt, Ashoka's trashy tubetop.

Bad: The first 4 episodes of a cartoon being turned into a theatrical release.

Thoughts: I really like this movie. It's tone feels more like the original Star Wars movies than most of the prequels do to me. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is essentially the pilot to The Clone Wars animated series. George Lucas decided to release it in theaters to build up hype for the show, and probably to get people to pay for what would normally be free on television. Unfortunately most critics hated it, judging it as another Star Wars movie and not a serialized cartoon.

Drinking Game Ideas: Take a shot of whatever you choose whenever Ahsoka gets "snippy." Chase it with blue milk.

Fun Fact: Star Wars: The Clone Wars is the seventh Star Wars feature to be released in theaters in North America (the eighth in Europe, as Caravan of Courage received a cinematic release there in 1984) and is the first animated theatrical film for the franchise, and the first to be distributed by Warner Bros. instead of 20th Century Fox.

A Decade of Movies #10

The Matrix Reloaded
Directed by The Wachowski Brothers
Released May 15th, 2003

Good: The car chase.

Bad: The rest of the movie.

Thoughts: For me this was the decade's first truly epic fail for a highly anticipated sequel. (I wasn't expecting Jurassic Park III to be good, and as a hardcore Star Wars fan I saw good in Episode II.)

Drinking Game Ideas: Get crunk during the rave scene.

Fun Fact: This MTV Movie Awards skit featuring Will Ferrell is better than the actual movie:
